People really aren't loving Apple's new home speaker

On Monday Apple finally unveiled its long-rumored Amazon Echo competitor, the HomePod, and people have been ripping the piss out of it.

Like Amazon's Echo, the HomePod is designed to be the intelligent hub for your home but people aren't loving the general look of the product, and for the price of £270 you want something that looks cool, don't you? Not something that looks like a ball of twine. Naturally people took to their social media accounts to rip on the product and some of the reactions are sheer genius.
