What we have here is a faithful flip-reverse of the classic Channel 4 show Football Italia.

It's not real. But if it was, I reckon your hypothetical Italians of the era could have proceeded with reasonable confidence after sitting through those opening credits. Really captures the essence of what was going on back then...
