Big fan of Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba deliberately trying to get booked last night
Both players went in to yesterday's La Liga game against Girona a yellow card away from a one-match ban. Barca play Las Palmas next, a relatively gentle fixture, and definitely a better one to be without a couple of key players than their clash with Atletico Madrid the weekend after. Makes sense then, to get the suspension out of the way as soon as possible.
Let's see how they got on...
Alba got his and will now miss the Las Palmas game, but try as he might, Suarez just couldn't get the ref to bite (pun intended). A decent effort from the former Liverpool man though.
