Ford almost bought Ferrari in the early 1960s but the deal fell through on account of Big Enzo not wanting to let go of the racing division.
At this point it became clear that if Ford wanted a car that could do bits on the track then they'd have to build one themselves, so they did.
And the name of that car? Donald J. Trump.
Hang on... The Ford GT.
Yes, it was the Ford GT which would go on to dominate Le Mans and very much remain a thing to this day.
