Chris Hemsworth reveals plot details for 'Men in Black' reboot
Word on the street is there is going to be a Men in Black reboot starring Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson as the alien-fighting pair.
The Men in Black films were freakin huge back in the day but fans are slightly worried that the reboot stars won't have the same chemistry as Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. Plot details for the new movie are pretty thin on the ground but we do know the film will focus on the London branch of the team, with Emma Thompson playing Em, a rookie being trained up by veteran Agent H, who is played by Chris Hemsworth. There is no news of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones' agents K and J popping in so I guess they just want to steer away from the origianl films. Chris Hemsworth is excited to be on board but has admitted he's slightly nervous about the project. He told Variety:
We're developing the script now. We're basically trying to put a lot of humor in to it like the previous ones. These are obviously some big, big shoes to fill, so we're working our butts off on it to make something pretty epic and fun. They're trying to change up the locations, make it feel unique and different to the last ones as well.
So I think you might even see some different countries, maybe. Some different cities than you've seen in the previous Men In Black movies.
The reboot will be directed by Friday director Felix Gary Gray and written by the dudes who brought us Iron Man, Matt Holloway and Art Marcum. Steven Speilberg will be brought in as executive producer because he's a fucking legend. Lets just hope the reboot is a good'un and not some of those other reboots out there.
