The Conjuring director announces 'Arachnophobia' remake
Lovers of the old 90s classic movie Arachnophobia will be quaking in their boots once again as James Wan has just confirmed a reboot is on the cards.
Arachnophobia scared the living shit when it first came out and I couldn't even look at a spider without my skin crawling for quite some time. The original movie came out in 1990 and was set in a small town in America. After some killer spiders hitched a ride in a coffin from South America, the toen become invaded and people started dying. It was up to Jeff Daniels and John Goodman to try and put an end to these deadly eight-legged monsters. Here's the old trailer to referesh your memory:
That trailer still gets me. Legendary director James Wan will be producing the remake which could mean we're in for some seriously creepy shit if his previous movies are anything to go by (The Conjuring, Saw, Insidiuous). There's no plot details yet but I'm expecting a good'un. I can't wait to see some terrifying spiders and some gruesome deaths. I'm well up for this!
