Pensioner arrested after walking his wife around the county fair on a lead
It's all well and good trying out some kinky shit to jazz up a stale relationship, but that sort of thing might be appropriate if it was kept in the bedroom and not your local county fair like the couple in this story.
66-year-old Walter William Wolford was visiting the Hagerston Fair in Maryland with his wife Catherine but it wasn't the home made chutney and local cheeses he was interested in. He was more up for walking his Mrs round on a lead and showing everyone what a master he is. But the problem was, Walter had tied the lead so damn tight that Catherine looked in pain, which caused other attendees to call the police. When the cops took them both in, they found Catherine to be disorientated and speaking gibberish, which led to Walter being immediately arrested.
However, Walter thought he had a good excuse for keeping his wife on a lead and it turns out it has nothing to do with being kinky. Apparently, Walter claimed that Catherine suffered from dementia and that last year when he took her to the fair she wandered off and he was unable to find her. So he thought it would be a good idea if he kept on her a lead this year. He claimed that it was originally around her waist but slowly creeped up around her neck without him noticing. Erm, what about a wheelchair?! Slightly more humane than dragging your senile wife around like a dog. Walter's kids later vouched for him and he was released on bail.
