Personal trainer gets fat client banned from all his local takeaways
It’s a no brainer that if you want to lose weight - just ditch the junk food and do some exercise, but not everyone has that kind of willpower. If your guilty pleasure happens to be takeaways, what can you do to make sure you steer clear? - tear up the menus? Delete the number from your phone? Nah, just get a personal trainer to send a leaflet to all the local takeaways telling staff not to serve you. Easy!
Personal trainer Mike Hind, went round to all of Darren McClintock aka Dibsy’s regular fast-food haunts with a flyer after doctors told his 27-year-old client that he was 'eating himself to death'. The posters read: "Save Dibsy. Obesity is Killing Him. Do Not Serve This Man."
Dibsy, who doesn’t want to reveal his weight was eating pasties, chips, pies and curries every day until one day his body had enough and he was hospitalised with heart problems. He’s now on a health-kick with PT Mike and he aims to shed three quarters of body weight by eating healthy meals and doing regular exercise.
I mean it’s a bit extreme to get yourself banned from all your local takeaways but if it helps Dibsy not eat himself into an early grave, then go for it! Good luck Dibsy!
