Hugh Jackman says that Wolverine will return!!!
Even though Wolverine’s journey ended in a spectacular way in the 2017 film, Logan, Hugh Jackman has just revealed that Wolverine will return, and quite rightly, people are losing their minds.
During last weeks episode of Sunday Today, Jackman discussed the possibilities of Wolverine’s return with host Willie Geist. However, Jackman explained that fans shouldn't expect to see his familiar face in the role. Here’s what Jackman had to say:
Oh, Wolverine will be back. Someone’s going to buy him, I don’t know.
He was then asked about a potential return in a Deadpool crossover, and said:
No, but Ryan is relentless. He keeps coming back to me in all these ways, shapes and forms. I just said, ‘You know, I just don’t think the world really wants to see Deadpool with Wolverine.’ Maybe a cameo from Deadpool? I just think it runs over it for Deadpool.
However, it appears Jackman’s fanbase disagree with him on what ‘the world wants to see’, with people showing some proper enthusiasm at the prospect of Deadpool and Wolverine joining forces. One person said:
The world doesn’t want it THE WORLD NEEDS IT.
Yup! I completely agree! I guess we just need to wait and see who will be cast as Wolverine in the future. With the impending purchase of Fox by Disney it’s only a matter of time. Whoever it is, they have big shoes to fill!
