Crazy dude chased customers through Tesco wielding a massive hammer

News just broke that there’s had been a madman running around the Purley, South London branch of Tesco wielding a hammer. So if you ever needed a reason to ditch the extortionate prices of Tesco and switch to Aldi, this is it!

Police responded to a call at 10pm last night after a masked man with a hammer stormed into the shop and started swinging it about and chasing people. What an absolute nutter! Luckily, no one was hurt and judging from the video, it looked like he just wanted to scare people. Well, I think he succeeded.

Jesus, can you imagine popping into your local Tesco for some vodka and thrush cream (or maybe that’s just my weekly shopping list) and ending up being chased by some crazed dude with an axe. Here’s what the police report said:

Quote:Police were called on Tuesday, January 22 at 10.14pm to a supermarket in Purley Way to reports of a man in possession of a hammer. Officers attended and were informed the man had caused damage to the store. The suspect left prior to police arrival.A search of the area took place but he was not found. Enquiries are ongoing to trace him.No arrests at this stage. Officers from Croydon are investigating.

The fucker is still at large so watch yourselves duding your next food shop, folks!
