Sonic director is redesigning Sonic after fans rip trailer to shreds!
After the trailer for the Sonic The Hedgehog movie dropped last week, fans were quick to point out that Sonic looked absolutely nothing like the original. They were also pretty pissed off that he didn’t do a loop-the-loop and that the film in general looked like it was going to be a steaming pile of plop.
Obviously we’re in the age where fans think they hold all the power over these production companies so they took to social media in droves and pretty much tore the film apart. There was so much venom being thrown about online that the director of Sonic had to stand up and take notice. He posted this tweet in the hopes of appeasing his audience:
Damn! Imagine getting so much hate that you actually have to redesign your main character. I actually feel sorry for the guy. I didn’t think the film looked too bad but it looks like I’m in the minority. Here’s the trailer in case you missed it:
