Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer has dropped & it contains Endgame spoliers!
The new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home is here but if you haven't yet seen Avengers: Endame, turn back now as it contains SPOILERS!
The trailer shows Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Jake Gyllenhaal's Quentin Beck aka Mysterio and takes place right after the Avengers film in the MCU. The 3-minute trailer shows Peter Parker and Happy Hogan grieving the loss of Tony Stark, who died at the end of Endgame. Peter (dressed in his spidey costume) reveals to police that he's going on holiday with his friends who include Ned, Michelle "MJ" Jones and Flash Thompson.Peter is then seen avoiding a phone call from Nick Fury, but as seen in an earlier trailer, Fury and Maria Hill recruit Peter from his trip and introduce him to Mysterio who is revealed to be from another Earth in a different dimension. Check out the trailer:
The trailer confirms that there is now an MCU Multiverse, which was caused by Thanos' snap tearing a hole in the dimension. Yeah I know, it's all a bit confusing. There's also been some speculation about the film's title, but Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had a few words to say about that:
Quote:It ties into Homecoming, not just keeping that word going, which we like and we liked it more than Homecoming 2, but that notion of 'home' is a word that has dual meanings we'd like to continue with this MCU version of Spider-Man. So, Far From Home has multiple meanings.
Bit cryptic but it'd be interesting to see how it ties in. Far From Home hits cinemas on 2nd July.
