Netflix announces Jurassic World series!
First Netflix announced that they are turning The Dark Crystal into a series and now they’ve just dropped the news that they will be turning Jurassic World into an animated series, which should be pretty exciting for you dinosaur nerds out there.
The series will be set during the same timeline as 2015's Jurassic World, and will follow the story of six teenagers left stranded on Isla Nublar. With the island being crammed full of dinosaurs, you obviously know suits going to go down.
The show has roped in the producers from Dreamworks Animation, and will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Colin Trevorrow, Scott Kreamer and Lane Lueras. The show is due to be released next year and it’s working is Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.
Everyone seems to have Jurassic World fever right now, and this news has come shortly after Bryce Dallas Howard spilled the beans that the upcoming Jurassic Park 3 will feature some of the original Jurassic Park cast such as Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neil.
