The trailer for Chris Morris’ ‘The Day Shall Come’ is finally here!
Chris Morris has come a long way since playing the intense businessesman Denholm Reynholm in The IT Crowd. I’ll never forget the episode where he’s being questioned about fraudulent documents so knowing he’s fucked, he just casually steps out of a 30-story window. Brilliant!
Chris has given up on the acting lark but his quirky satire is very much still alive in the form of his directorial debuts, 2010's Four Lions, and his latest offering, The Day Shall Come.

I posted a bit of info about the movie a few months back but now we finally have a trailer and a synopsis. Take a look:
Based on 100 true stories, the explosive new film from Chris Morris (Four Lions, Brass Eye) is an emotionally gripping, laugh out loud thriller that exposes the dark farce at the heart of the homeland security project: It is harder to catch a real terrorist than it is to manufacture your own. It does sound very much like Four Lions but I guess Chris is sticking to what interests him, and with Four Lions being so popular, it’s be crazy to steer away from a winning formula. Peep Show’s Jesse Armstrong is teaming up with Chris on this film so it’s sure to have some hilarious moments.
The Day Shall Come will be released on October 11th.
