We all know that Suicide Squad was a complete pile of stinking hot pap so when I heard Margot Robbie was returning as Harley Quinn for a spin-off movie, I figured it could be just the thing to redeem the shocking film. Lord knows, it can’t get any fucking worse!
Birds Of Prey follows Harley Quinn and a bunch of other DC stars as they wreak havoc over Gotham. The trailer is being shown before IT: Chapter 2 this weekend in case you’re wondering why there’s a load of red balloons in the trailer. Check it out:
Looks kinda entertaining doesn’t it. I’d love to see Pennywise and Harley Quinn go head to head but that’s a whole other movie entirely. Birds of Prey has a pretty awesome cast too - Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, and Elle Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain. I’m not expecting loads from it because it’s still a spin-off of Suicide Squad but let’s wait and see. It might surprise us. Birds of a prey hits cinemas February 2020
