Dude caught cheating after girlfriend notices Fitbit activity spike at 4am
People go to great lengths to find out if their partner is cheating on them - checking over their shoulder to see who they’re texting, seeing if their Snapchat score has gone up (I’m serious) or tracking their whereabouts using their phone tracker. All of those are pretty obvious ways to land yourself in hot water with your partner, but never did I think a FitBit would be the downfall of someone’s relationship!

Jane Slater, a successful American sports correspondent revealed on Twitter that she caught her now ex-boyfriend cheating on her after she noticed an unexpected spike in his Fitbit activity. Jane saw that her man’s heart rate and physical activity spiked at 4am on a night where she wasn’t with him.

The dude was actually the cause of his own downfall because he was the one who had bought Jane the Fitbit in the first place. Like many couples, the pair synced up their Fitbits to kept each other motivated in their fitness journeys and it was all going well until that one fateful night when Jane noticed the suspicious activity. The poor girl also told her Twitter followers that this wasn’t the first time she’d been cheated on:
Damn, that’s cold! I once found out my ex-boyfriend cheated on me when I hired a female personal and we started talking about our dickhead exes. Turned out she was dating the same dude as me AT THE SAME TIME! Crazy right?! After Jane’s tweet went viral, other women chimed in with their stories of infidelity:
