Real life superhero Phoenix Jones arrested for selling coke to undercover cop
‘Real life superhero’ and MMA fighter Ben Foder AKA Phoenix Jones has been arrested after he was caught selling coke and ecstasy to an undercover police officer.
Phoenix Jones is the leader of the Rain City Superhero Movement, which was started in 2011 by costume-wearing activists who describe themselves as a ‘crime-fighting brigade’. Phoenix would wear a black and gold mask & outfit complete with a fake six-pack. He and his buddies would then roam the streets fighting crime and breaking up fights.
However, doing good deeds don’t pay the bills so Phoenix decide to embark on a little side hustle of drug dealing. As you do! Phoenix would dress up in a black and gold costume with a mask and fake six-pack abs before taking to the streets to fight crime and break up violence. Bit risky but sweet I guess.
Phoenix and his girlfriend Andrea Berendsen were arrested last week after Homeland Security Investigations organised a drug deal by text with Phoenix. Apparently the cop arranged to buy $500 worth of MDMA to which Phoenix requested $300 be paid upfront via his online Venmo account.
Phoenix then turned up at Starbucks expecting to deliver the drugs but was arrested as soon as he handed over the bag. I actually feel kinda bad for the guy. What a shitty way to ambush someone. It’s only a bit of Mandy FFS. Just take the bag and go and have a good night out. Both Phoenix and his girlfriend are scheduled to appear in court on February 3rd so we’ll see how that goes.
