Check out three female porn stars branching out into the world of comedy
Hustler Magazine recently published an article about porn stars breaking into the comedy world and I’m not quite sure how to feel about it. I’m not saying porn stars aren’t funny but..oh actually I guess I am saying that and I feel bad for being so judgey. Featured in the article are porn stars Kate Kennedy, Jamie Foster and cam girl, Allie Awesome. The piece is called Funny Fuckers: Porn Stars Who Are Also Comedians’ also mentions other porn stars who have tried their hand at comedy, including Stormy Daniels and Ron Jeremy.
Here’s what porn star Kate Kennedy had to say about her first time doing stand-up:
One day I had a scene, and a friend said if I could get five minutes together, I could go onstage at the Comedy Store here in L.A. I did, and it was the best! Porn provides 80 percent of my material. I need to challenge myself to write about current events.
Allie Awesome is another porn star who performs stand-up, as well as filming comedy videos for PornHub. Allie reveal to Hustler how she got into comedy:
Two years ago, I was dating a real jerk, and I was depressed. I looked up activities on Groupon and found an improv class. I signed up and fell in love with it.
