Parliament's bars are exempt from 10pm curfew
Surprise surprise, the MP’s can still carry on boozing well after 10pm because the bars inside parliament are exempt from the 10pm curfew.
Bars and restaurants serving booze inside the Palace of Westminster are exempt from the newly imposed covid curfew because they’re classified as a 'workplace canteen'. HA, yeah okay!
This news comes just a week after Boris Johnson laid out a bunch of bullshit measures designed to clampdown on Covid-19, including imposing a 10pm curfew on all pubs, bars and restaurants. However, despite the new measures inflicted on the rest of us, staff and visitors inside Parliament can still get boozy and not only that, but that don’t have to provide a name and contact number upon entry either. Funny that. Who would have thought that it’s one rule for them and another for us.
