This robotic hand will hold your hand and warm you up when you're lonely
If you’re worried about feeling lonely during this second lockdown, don’t worry because a Japanese company has developed a robotic hand that you can hold on to and it feels just like the real thing. The hand is covered in a soft gel and it has been designed to replicate the feeling of holding hands with a partner.
The hand is called Osampo Kanojo which translates to ‘my girlfriend in walk’. and inventors have described it as an ‘experience holding your girlfriend’s hand more easily than finding a girlfriend.’ Erm, okay. While the tech looks a bit shit and like you’re clutching a polystyrene hand, it’s apparently hyper realistic in the way it feels. The hand also smells like shampoo and can even sweat of you adding a damp cloth between the hands heater and the surface. Pah, make it smell like fanny like it’s been having a scratch and THEN it’ll be realistic.
If this all wasn’t weird enough, the hand also makes noises. Through a connected app, users can make the hand emulate the sound of breathing, running and even the rustle of their clothes. I mean yeah, it’s all a bit creepy really isn’t it. All we really want to know is; will it wank me off?! If the answer is no, it’s probably not worth the money.
