Shot for shot movie scenes from the 70s & 80s that inspired 'Stranger Things' 2

We all know Netflix sensation Stranger Things is set in the 80s, but did you know that the show is actually jam-packed with movie nostalgia that 70s and 80s kids will go nuts for. Rather than just point out the comparisons, Vimeo user Ulysse Thevonon has gone back through the series and made a supercut showing Stranger Things' references to all the film classics we know and love.

As you can see, the show pays homage to films such as E.T., The Goonies and Poltergeist. I also spotted some Flight of the Navigator similarities that the creator of this video failed to spot. Ah well, he still did a bang up job.
