Elliot is reunited with E.T in Sky Christmas Advert

I’m not normally big on Christmas ads but this one has two of the biggest movie icons from the 80s so it naturally peaked my interest.

Not one to be outdone by John Lewis, Sky released their Christmas advert, reuniting E.T. and Elliott 37 years after the original movie came out. Man, I feel old. The ad shows E.T. coming back to visit Elliot and discovering he’s all grown up with a family of his own now. Obviously with it being a Sky advert it’s all based around technology but it’s still a really fun and sweet advert. Take a look:

I love that you can still see it’s Elliot and he hasn’t become all bloated faced or heavily botoxed like a bunch of other former child stars. Good on you, Elliot, or Henry Thomas A’s that’s his real name.
