Angry mum confronts son after finding his 'crack spoon'
Everyone knows mums are nosey as fuck. My mum was always rummaging through my stuff to see if I smoking 'wacky backy' or taking pills. She never found anything incriminating, but let's just say if she had found crisp dust at the bottom of my bag I would have been accused of being a coke addict, because mums are great at jumping to conclusions....like the woman in this next story.
Jordan Ridehalgh was away at a festival when he received a text from his mum Lisa, asking "What's this in the garden?" along with a photo of a spoon. Jordan laughed about it and explained to his mum tht the spoon had sugar on it to help a weak bee, but his mum was having none of it. Here's how the conversation ensues:
Apparently it all started after Jordan's girlfriend Isobel told him that she once gave a bit of sugar water to help a sick bee and when Jordan spotted one in his garden, he decided to step in to help the little guy out.
Speaking after the event, Jordan said:
I was away at a festival and my mum and dad came home and were cleaning up the house and encountered this spoon in their back garden. Obviously when they discovered this spoon in their garden with some crystalised material on it, they had no idea what it was.
Between them all they obviously got a bit worried and Googled 'crack spoon' and the picture that came up happened to look just like what they had found. So then my mum ended up messaging me basically asking if I had done crack. Immediately I knew she was serious because of the way she went about it but I found it funny straight away because of how ridiculous the scenario was.
I couldn't even tell you how preposterous it is - I've never done anything like that before. But at the time, that's the only thing they thought it could be. I think it was just as shocking for them, which what made it even funnier for me.
Jordan's mum Lisa later apologised to her son and admitted to getting a bit carried away. You think???! At least she cares!
