Fake rock star Jered Threatin is returning to the UK to play a real gig!
Remember the story I wrote about a few months back about the fake rock star who sold zero tickets for his fake UK tour?! Well he’s back in the media again and it looks like he’s actually going to perform a real gig this time, for real paying fans.
Jered Threatin was all over the media at the end of last year after he used a fake booking agent to book his band on a huge European tour. He ended up booking some pretty big venues but when it was time to perform, the band ended up playing to an empty room because no tickets had been sold. It was all rather embarrassing.
After the story broke out, Threatin deleted all of his social media accounts and just went into hiding...until now. It’s now been revealed on the Underworld’s Facebook page that the band are due to play a gig in Camden on November 1st 2018, and amazingly, 20 people have already bought tickets. It looks like it’s going to be the most successful gig yet! Who’s going?! I might have to get a ticket just for bants.
