Ryan Reynolds & John Krasinski team up for new comedy movie, Imaginary Friends
It’s just been revealed that Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski are teaming up for new comedy movie titled Imaginary Friends, and fans are losing their shit. Tbf, it’s a pretty epic pairing.
Both Reynolds and Krasinski have that similar dry wit and ability to break the fourth wall while keeping the audience totally engaged so it’s got the making of an awesome movie. The film will be written and directed by Krasinski who will also produce and star in the film.
Imaginary Friends tells the tale of a man who can see and talk to peoples imaginary friends, befriending the ones who have been discarded. Aww. However, some imaginary friends who are lacking in love and friendship turn to the dark side and it’s up to Reynolds character to save the world from the ones who have turned evil.
Kinda sounds like a warped Drop Dead Fred. There is a bit of a bidding war going on for the film at the moment but it looks like a Paramount is going to get it. There’s no shooting date as of yet but we know Krasinski likes to get cracking on his projects so hopefully it won’t be too long. I can’t wait for this!
