Ron Jeremy cast in Eric Rivas' new Coronavirus-themed movie
With Coronavirus porn popping up all over the place, we knew it wouldn’t be long before someone came up with a mainstream movie based solely around Covid-19. In this case it’s New York cult director Eric Rivas who has enlisted the talents of Ron Jeremy for his upcoming film, which makes me question the validity of the term ‘mainstream’.
Ron Jeremy joined the cast of the new coronavirus-themed movie, Duke of York, which will be shot remotely so it can abide by social distancing rules. This won’t be the first time Ron has worked with director Eric Rivas, as he also starred in his 2016 series, Vamp Bikers. Here’s the trailer:
Some real high end stuff there. On the topic of his upcoming film, Rivas told The New York Post that he had shot footage of the empty city over the weekend from his car, and that the actors including Ron Jeremy will be sending him videos of themselves doing their dialogue, which he’ll then editing together. Here’s what Rivas had to say about the plot of Duke of York:
Quote:It’s about a dastardly movie producer who tries to trick a director into killing an Asian actor in a misguided attempt to take revenge for the disease. It’s sort of a stand against xenophobia, and also about people’s desperation during this time.
I mean it sounds ok but after seeing the trailer for Vamp Bikers I’m pretty certain Duke of York won’t be executed well. Might be a funny watch during lockdown though. It’s not like we’ve got much else to do.
