East 17 whisper 'Stay Another Day' in ASMR Christmas video
I dunno about you but when I think of Christmas, I think of roast spuds, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and four dudes in white parkas singing 'Stay Another Day' on TV. Of course I'm referring to 90s boyband East 17.
You may not have realised but East 17 reformed recently, digging out a bunch of their old classics and playing a load of shitty clubs throughout the UK. Brian Harvey decided against making a comeback on account of his mental breakdown. Eek! Remember him going batshit at the Benefits Office:
Ooof, Poor Brian should've dusted off his white parka and joined the lads, especially as the bands latest video is such a Christmas winner. East 17 teamed up to re-record Stay Another Day but the backing tune has been replaced by whispering to appeal to those who love ASMR (Auto Sensory Meridian Response. If you've not heard of ASMR, it's a genre of videos that induce a tingling feeling in the viewer which is also quite soothing. Here's the video:
